National Elementary Honor Society

The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) is an organization that recognizes students for their outstanding academic achievement, demonstrated personal responsibility, and strong character.

It is a great honor to be selected for membership into one of the nation’s most prestigious organizations!

Membership in this chapter is an honor bestowed upon deserving students based on the criteria of Scholarship and Responsibility.

McCoy’s chapter was founded in the winter of 2015. Since that time, members have adopted the USS Ronald Reagan, organized a care package campaign for deployed service members, worked with local charitable organizations to organize a canned soup drive, collected supplies for young mothers in Central Florida, participated in campus beautification projects, organized crayon recycling programs at the end of each school year, and supplied over 270 Thanksgiving meals for local families.

New Members are considered each winter. For questions please contact Mrs. Mihelich at
